Stratulat Albulescu Attorneys at Law hosted a Competition seminar, for the purpose to discuss some of the most important and specific issues when dealing with a competition assessment, both from an economic as well as legal perspective. Representatives of companies from various sectors attended the event, which took place on 29 June 2022 at our SAA headquarters in Bucharest.
The topics covered include:
- How to accurately determine your position on the market? The key is the proper definition of the relevant market, from a competition perspective.
- What is acceptable and what falls outside the legal boundaries, when it comes to relationships with important players? Abuse of dominance – what does it actually mean and how to recognize such practice?
- What are the legal boundaries to information sharing? And how much is “too much”?
SAA Partner and Head of Competition Ana Kusak led the panel discussions, together with Dr. Vitaly Pruzhansky, Partner in RBB Economics’ Brussels office.
The turnout was excellent, with attendees from some of the most prestigious companies active in Romania, from different sectors including Energy (CEZ), Automotive (FEV ECE Automotive), Technology (Thoughtworks, SelfD.id), Real Estate (Fortim Trusted Advisors), Pharmaceuticals (Chiesi Romania, Swixx BioPharma), Beauty & Care (Nomasvello), Courier (Cargus) and Investment Funds (Resource Partners, Catalyst Romania).
