ALEXANDRA RADU has an extensive transactional experience as an M&A lawyer and is a specialist in corporate, commercial and competition legal matters. She advises a variety of international investors and large Romanian companies on transactional and regulatory matters with respect to their acquisitions or divestments in Romania.

During her career Alexandra has been involved in several high mandates and has a thorough understanding of both local and international matters. She has advised on some of the most complex, multi-jurisdictional M&A transactions throughout Eastern Europe.

Alexandra is highly experienced in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, post-acquisition restructuring and competition compliance, drafting and negotiating contracts.
Prior to joining our firm, Alexandra was part for more than 10 years from the M&A team of one of the largest international law firms in Romania.
Alexandra is member of the Bucharest Bar since 2006.

RECENT RELEVANT PROJECTS

Coordinated the team that assisted Wirecard AG in the acquisition of Provus Group, the local market leader in electronic payment processing and support. The transaction, valued at 32 million Euro, is considered to be the most important on the payment processing market in Romania so far.

Coordinated the team that assisted the leading fitness chain in Romania, World Class Romania, in acquiring Club Sport Fitness Centre MV, a privately-owned fitness operator currently managing 9 fitness centres in Bucharest and main Romanian cities.

During her activity prior to joining our firm, Alexandra was part of the team who worked on some of the most significant M&A transactions in Romania, such as:

Advising an American multinational conglomerate company that produces a variety of commercial and consumer products, engineering services, and aerospace systems on the Romanian part of the global sale of its friction materials business to a NASDAQ-listed global manufacturer and supplier of powertrain components and vehicle safety products;

Advising an important bank on the divestment of its Romanian debt management subsidiary to a large international financial services provider;

Advising an important bank on the divestment of its Romanian debt management subsidiary to a large international financial services provider;

Advising an important Hungarian bank in relation to the sale of its 96.3% stake in the Romania-based bank to a leading private fund;

Assisting a large telecom operator in the conclusion of a radio access network infrastructure sharing agreement.
